(Beijing, January 24) 2004 Paralympic champions Canada eased into the men's final of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 Wheelchair Basketball International Invitational Tournament after beating the Netherlands 68-51 this evening at the National Indoor Stadium.

Before today's semifinal, Canada had prevailed 69-31 on their meeting with the Netherlands in the preliminary round.

The two teams tied at 19 all after the first quarter and Canada kept ahead 29-26 at halftime.

In the second half, the Canadians extended their advantage by leading 47-37 after the third quarter and carried the day 68-51.

Canada will take on Australia in the final while China and the Netherlands will be vying for the third place.
