(Beijing, January 21) The Netherlands crushed China 59-29 in the last game of the second round of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 Wheelchair Basketball International Invitational Tournament this evening at the National Indoor Stadium.

Dutch center Jaap Smid contributed a double-double, with 18 points and 11 rebounds, in the win while China had no player reaching double figures with Huang Xunan getting a team-high of 7 points plus 11 rebounds.

The Dutch took two quarters to determine the result of the match, leading 35-13 at halftime. The less experienced China only collected 7 points in the fourth quarter.

Xu Yuansheng, head coach of China, admitted after the match that there was a huge gap between China and world powerhouses and that the lack of experience had led to his team's defeat.
