(Beijing, January 21) The Chinese women players suffered two losses in a row after losing to Germany 66-42 in the second round of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 Wheelchair Basketball International Invitational Tournament this evening at the National Indoor Stadium.

Before today's victory, Germany also prevailed in their meeting against the visiting Chinese squad last August, winning by 40 plus.

China managed to tie the score at 8 all five minutes into the game, but Germany showcased their skills shortly to set a 19-10 lead after the first quarter. The match then turned out to be lopsided. Despite moving closer at 39-32 in the third period, China didn't gain enough strength to turn the table, falling 66-42.

Peter Richarz, Germany's assistant coach, said after the match that China's defense had caused some troubles but Germany still got the run upon thanks to their experience.
